Emma wants to buy a € 9,000 car that she found through an online ad. She doesn’t know the seller, Thomas, and wants to avoid losing her money in a fraudulent scheme. As for Thomas, he doesn’t want to deal with cash and wants to make sure Emma has the funds to buy the car.
Emma and Thomas create their respective accounts on www.digiteal.eu.
Via the Digiteal application, Thomas sends Emma a request to transfer the € 9,000 to Digiteal’s bank account.
Emma confirms she is the buyer and proceeds to payment. Thomas is automatically notified as soon as Emma’s money has arrived on Digiteal’s segregated account.
On the day of the exchange, Thomas gives Emma the keys and the car papers. They mutually confirm the purchase via the application.
Reassured, Emma leaves with the car and Thomas is sure that the 9,000 € will be in his account within the next two days.
